Pepper's- A Safe Place Pepper’s – A Safe Place is a community mental health & wellbeing charity with centres in Oakham and Melton Mowbray.

We offer free drop-ins, friendly support and inclusive activities in a welcoming, safe space where adults can feel included and connected. 🌿 Drop-in Sessions – Free & Friendly Support

No referral needed – just pop in for a cuppa, a chat, and a warm welcome 💚

Try some light exercise. This could be a stroll in the park or a five-minute movement video on YouTube. Pepper’s has chair exercise classes for EVERYONE, including yoga, tai chi, Pilates and a fitness session that’s a bit like a disco on a seat!

Enjoy your favourite hobby. Whether that’s art, music (putting on a great tune and singing in the kitchen is a good one!), nice food, walking, reading, yoga or DIY, carve out an hour to improve your wellbeing: you deserve it.

Spend time in nature. Being outside can improve your mood, reduce stress and help you to relax. Sit in the garden, walk in your local park, look at the stars or spend five minutes outside just noticing what you see around you.
