OK, so meal prep isnโ€™t very sexy, but it works! You know whatโ€™s underrated?
Opening the fridge midweek and seeing food already made.
Meal prep doesnโ€™t need to be exciting. It just needs to stop you eating sausage rolls and petrol station sandwiches at 2pm.
Hereโ€™s an idea to batch in 20 minutes:
๐Ÿฅฉ Lean mince with fajita seasoning
๐ŸŒฝ Throw in peppers, onions, and a tin of sweetcorn
๐Ÿฅฃ Serve with rice or chuck it in wraps
You donโ€™t need to love meal prep. You just need to love not feeling like crap by Thursday.

OMG please stop going on about how discipline is the be all and end all! Iโ€™m sick of seeing posts about โ€œ๐˜ ๐˜ฐ๐˜ถ ๐˜ซ๐˜ถ๐˜ด๐˜ต ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฅ ๐˜ฎ๐˜ฐ๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ฅ๐˜ช๐˜ด๐˜ค๐˜ช๐˜ฑ๐˜ญ๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜ฆ.โ€ Nah mate. You need a plan that doesnโ€™t break you.

Look, you donโ€™t have to be sprinting up hills or doing burpees in your garden to โ€œearnโ€ your weekend. But letโ€™s be honest if your Saturday is all sofa and sausage rolls, your body will feel it by Monday. So hereโ€™s your not-so-serious guide to moving more this weekend without it feeling like a chore:
๐Ÿ”ฅ Walk like youโ€™ve stolen something.
Take the dog, the kids, or just yourself and stride it out like you're on a mission.
๐Ÿ”ฅ Mow the lawn like youโ€™re being timed.
Bonus points if you break a sweat and call it "cardio."
๐Ÿ”ฅ Paddleboard, play footy with the kids, chop wood, dance while BBQing.
Yes, it all counts.
๐Ÿ”ฅ Take the long route. Park further away. Race your mate to the pub.
Your body doesnโ€™t care how you move. Just that you do.

Letโ€™s stop pretending meal prep is some big health influencer thing. Nothing says 'living the dream' like reheated broccoli and regret in a Tupperware box! But seriously, Itโ€™s just cooking in bulk so you donโ€™t live off snacks and sausage rolls all week.

Hereโ€™s a quick fix prep idea:
โ€ข Grill 5 chicken thighs
โ€ข Cook 2 pouches of rice
โ€ข Steam frozen mixed veg
โ€ข Portion it out into 4 tubs
Done in under 30 mins.

Itโ€™s not fancyโ€”itโ€™s fuel. And itโ€™ll stop you relying on vending machines and garage food.
Eat for the job. Train for the life you want.

They want to spend their weekends having quality time with loved ones instead of recovering from aches and pains from a hard week at work.
They want to sleep better, feel mentally strong and health and live a life thatโ€™s more than just working to live.
