Morvern Medical Practice is situated in the village of Lochaline and provides medical care for about 350 Morvern residents as well as providing treatment for visitors and temporary workers in the area. The practice Primary Care team aims to provide a reliable, confidential, courteous and helpful service to all patients without any form of discrimination. Repeat Prescriptions
We are a dispensing practice and can supply all necessary prescription medication. If you require repeat medications these can be ordered by handing in, or posting, the re-order slips to the surgery, by telephone on the 24hr answering machine or online . An e-mail confirmation will be sent at this time. If you do not receive an acknowledgement please contact the surgery. Answering Machine – call 01967 421303 and leave your name, telephone number, the name of the medications required and how you would like to receive them. Messages will be checked regularly during opening hours but if there is a significant delay in receiving your medication , please contact the surgery. Re-order slips can be handed in to the surgery reception desk, posted or left in the silver collection boxes outside the surgery. If you have any queries about your medication or require additional items, please contact the surgery reception staff on 01967 421252 between 9am and 1pm, but try to avoid using this number for simple routine repeat requests. Medication will be kept at the surgery for you to collect. Please allow 3 working days notice for repeat medications, just in case we are out of stock of a particular drug, although we will always try to dispense medications as soon as possible. If you wish to collect your medication from a community pharmacy, the prescription form may be collected from the reception desk on the same day but does require a GP signature, so needs to be ordered in advance. Please note we are dispensing GPs, not a community pharmacy – we cannot sell ‘over the counter’ medicines. Out Of Hours
