Good news story 😃

The remote island of Eigg off Scotland's west coast has become a leader in renewable energy and sustainability. In 1997, the 110 residents bought the island, and by 2008, they were off grid, meeting most of their needs from wind,solar, and water. They have been planting trees and carefully managing local woodland. They have seen wildlife returning, including sea eagles. (Info from globalpositvenews)

This is the stunning new mural in tribute to Paul O’Grady which has appeared in Manchester ❤

Street artist Manchester Murals, aka Chris Moore, created the mural of Paul's alter ego Lily Savage - after his previous artwork on the Fallowfiled Loop was defaced and then painted over

He said: "Hopefully it’ll be there for years to come. I think it’s a really fitting situé for Lily to be in"

You can find it on the side of The Church, previously Churchill's, in Manchester's Gay Village

We specialise in place regeneration, heritage and tourism. We work creatively with people who want the place they love to improve! We particularly enjoy exploring all things new and relish getting things done! Do you want something different and are you ready for change?

So whatever you are looking to improve you can be sure we will have a few ideas to help you along. We can help you with market research, community consultation or project development, we can even help you get everybody singing from the same hymn sheet!

Do you want to create new tourism experiences or find ways to engage young people in your community? Do you want to create a truly innovative place-based digital initiative or help your community to live healthier lives? Do you need someone to develop a Place Plan that can inspire everyone to come together?
