Whilst Homeopathy is the game-changer in all my appointments, I wouldn’t be without Kinesiology testing to ‘talk’ to the body.

Our bodies have their own infinite wisdom of EVERYTHING that has ever happened to us…we can use Kinesiology testing to tap into that wisdom & ‘talk’ to the body.

Food sensitivities can often be improved, but the digestive system needs support first. Continuing to eat foods that irritate the gut can put extra strain on the body at a time when it is already working hard to process hormonal changes.

About yesterday…..I could not be more proud of us both - this was our first official Hyrox & we had only trained together once. We had a bit of a queue at one station which was frustrating & there’s definitely a few places we could save time, but for our first Hyrox we are so chuffed with our time of 1:21.33 💪🏻

I’d also like to say massive thanks to my friend who said yes immediately when I asked her to partner with me - she is a beautiful soul inside & out - a paediatric nurse on shifts every day of the week (hence our limited training together) & the best Hyrox partner I could wish for. She smiles through it all, even though we both had moments of ‘Dear God!’

I also want to thank our amazing friend Robin - who was our biggest support & all round hero on the day - he went above & beyond, and kept us belly laughing all day, as usual. Thank you so much. 🙏🏻

And - I may not have been the biggest fan of Hyrox sessions when they started, but you made me grow to love them. Thank you to Sam & all the team for being such an awesome gym to turn up at 6.45am most days - even in the dark & cold, you guys are a lovely bunch to be with, so supportive & encouraging - this gym & all my friends there has become a huge part of my life. Thank you so much guys 🙏🏻

As promised, I will begin sharing some tips on menopause over the next few weeks, starting with Homeopathic remedies often helpful during this phase.

During menopause, hormonal shifts can temporarily change your symptom picture.

Even if you already have a constitutional remedy, it’s quite common to need an ‘intercurrent’ remedy at times to help the body adjust to the hormonal transition.

These are some of the remedies I most often consider during perimenopause and menopause, depending on the individual symptom picture.

Healing is rarely about a single remedy.

Many women ask me if it’s really possible to manage menopause naturally.

After more than 20 years of working with women’s health, I can honestly say that in most cases, yes - it is.

Hormonal changes don’t happen in isolation. The body responds to nutrition, stress, sleep, lifestyle, and emotional health, and when we support those areas properly, symptoms can often improve far more than people expect.

Over the next few weeks I’ll be sharing some simple practical tips to help you understand what your body may be asking for during this stage of life.

Is it too early for dessert? 🍋

This vegan Lemon Pudding is one of my favourite healthy, super-fast desserts - great choice when I have friends coming for dinner.

🌱 3-4 cup raw cashews (or blanched almonds)
🌱 1 cup coconut cream
🌱1/8 tsp turmeric
🌱1/4 cup maple syrup
🌱1/3 cup lemon juice
🌱2 tsp lemon zest

Ideally, the nuts need soaking overnight, but I have soaked cashews for an hour in hot water & still works! Add everything to a blender, dish up & leave in the fridge to set.

Such a simple, tasty, gluten-free, dairy-free dessert! 😋

✨I also love that every ingredient serves a purpose — nuts for creamy plant-based protein and nourishing fats, lemon for freshness and immune-supporting vitamin C, maple syrup as a more natural sweetener, and turmeric for its warming, anti-inflammatory properties. It’s the kind of dessert that feels light, bright and energising rather than heavy ✨
