The business was started by Cliff & Val Sendell in 1973 and helped
along by their son Owen. Val's the first female in the valley and Bridgend County to be working as a funeral director for over 35 years. But as of January 2012 we have a new female member of staff. Cliff Sendell was the main founder of the business after leaving his post as the area manager of the CIS funeral service, where he served for over 20 years. We are a family business committed to providing a caring,
compassionate individual service to every client that contacts us. A time in each
person's life that cannot be avoided is the death of a loved one. The pain
endured at such a time is inexplicable and the loss cannot be justified. We are
available 24 hours a day 365 days a year.

Well 2025 and we have done it again. We have come out one of The Best 3 funeral directors in the area for the 14th year running. I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone. Also a massive thank you to Charmaine & Tim for looking after and running the business for me since I've been in hospital.
