Sleep repairs the body.
Reiki rebalances the energy that powers it.

They work beautifully together 💆‍♀️ Reiki can even improve your sleep quality and help you reach deeper states of calm.

I’ve been awake since midnight 🧟‍♀️ something tells me I need a top up too! ✨

Ever wondered why you drift off during Reiki? 😴
It’s not just you, it’s actually one of the most common (and healing!) responses.

Here’s what’s really happening 👇

💫 Your body enters deep relaxation, Reiki activates the rest & restore system, slowing the heart rate and calming the mind.
🌙 Your energy begins to rebalance, as blockages release, the body feels lighter and safe enough to truly rest.
🧠 Your brain waves shift, moving into meditative theta states (the same space we reach just before sleep).
💛 Your system starts to heal, when we’re deeply relaxed, the body naturally repairs and rebalances itself.

So if you fall asleep during Reiki, take it as a compliment 👌 it means your energy trusts the process and you’re allowing yourself to fully receive. (Don’t be worried about snoring either, it’s perfectly normal! I do it too 🫣)
