This one means a lot as I love treating ponies 🐴 This was a little pony who was struggling to pick up left canter lead
She was as solid as a rock through her neck, shoulders and thoracic sling
Don’t under value those little ones. They deserve the TLC as much as their bigger field mates … they look after our little ones too after all 🥰

A long way still to go but kissing spine rehab well under way. Working on pain free; core strength, rib cage roll, epaxial activation and symmetry to name just a few

1st day fully taken in his stride for our new Rehab Livery Blue
Acclimatisation to the treadmill was no issue for Blue so water was added water and several minutes completed to finish on a good note ahead of a busy week 💦
Followed by a full physio assessment and treatment to alleviate any discomforts and compensations prior to progressing this week
Excited to watch him strengthen up and start to optimise normal movement patterns ahead of getting back under saddle 🥰

Star of the week goes to Samatian 🌟
First ride back under saddle following kissing spine surgery
He’s been an absolute darling to treat and rehab with a combination of stretches, scar tissue work, laser, Winback TECAR therapy, mobilisations, soft tissue work, water treadmill and exercise therapy. And just look how happy he is to be back ridden 🧡
Sam will continue to be monitored throughout the ridden part of his rehab journey to ensure he stays comfortable and reduce risk of compensatory movement patterns
