Yoga retreat - back to my roots! 🧘♀️
I started practicing Yoga in my teens as a way to calm my neurodivergent mind 🧠 and center myself through breathwork.
My honeymoon took me to an incredible retreat near Chiang Mai, where I practiced Vinyasa, Hatha, and Yin Yoga, along with meditation and breathwork amidst nature & animals.
We took the opportunity to also go on a digital detox, which I am so grateful for. As much as I love working on posts ect via social media platforms for my work this can be draining at times.
I was also rather shocked to see how much I missed my daily unhealthy scrolling dopamine hit and it was a fantastic reminder to work on that 🤸♀️
This retreat was an opportunity to disconnect & reconnect with people from around the globe & we were made to feel right at home.
Our days began with quiet time, followed by a 2-hour yoga ( Hatha /Vinyasa) and meditation practice, and then a delicious breakfast spread. We had the option to engage in activities like ice baths, waterfall climbing, or simply chill before lunch. Our evenings ended with sunset Yin Yoga and dinner.
An experience I won't forget & many tips I am looking forward to bringing into my Pilates Practice!
