Happy International Youth Day everyone! A day to celebrate youth as we reflect on our work alongside Schools First Aid Training Service CIC with numerous young people. We’re delighted to know of several instances where lives have been saved thanks to the training we’ve delivered, which our students are very enthusiastic about.

Pictured are Aberdeen pupils who saved the lives of their classmate when he fell off his bike and was knocked unconscious; they knew from our Young Emergency Aider scheme to put him in the recovery position while they waited for help.

Today is World Hepatitis Day, and it’s the perfect opportunity to shed light on a crucial topic that often goes unnoticed. We've received feedback from some of you that our courses cover much more than people initially expect - so let’s talk about hepatitis!

Our comprehensive first aid training includes vital information on infection control, bloodborne pathogens, vaccinations, and risk assessment. Understanding these areas is essential for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of hepatitis.

We want to foster a healthier future by ensuring everyone has access to the knowledge they need to prevent this disease, and to improve first aid skills in general. Get in touch if you’d like more information.
