🎉 Activity Round-Up at Manor Park Care Home 🎶🃏

It’s been another lovely week full of smiles, laughter, and togetherness here at Manor Park 💙

Our residents have enjoyed friendly games of cards, sparking conversation, a little competition, and plenty of laughs, alongside uplifting music sessions that had toes tapping and spirits lifted 🎵

We were also delighted to welcome a local school choir for a special visit. Their beautiful singing brought so much joy to our residents and created a truly heart-warming atmosphere. While we aren’t able to share photos of some of the children, we’d like to say a huge thank you to them for such a wonderful performance 🌟

Moments like these remind us how important connection, community, and shared experiences are to everyone here 🥰

🧡 Team Spirit at Manor Park Care Home! 🧡

Last week our amazing staff took part in a team-building activity, and we couldn’t have wished for a better evening! Everyone brought along a dish for a shared banquet, and the variety of food was incredible — just like our team!

There was plenty of laughter, delicious food, and a real sense of togetherness. Moments like this remind us how lucky we are to have such a supportive, caring team working side by side for our residents.

Thank you to every member of staff who joined in and contributed. We really are one big Manor Park family! 🥰✨

🏡 Sandstone Care Group Steps In to Save Malton Village Hall 🏡

We are proud to announce that Sandstone Care Group has donated £2000 to help restore the beloved Old Malton Village Hall, whose future was under threat due to disrepair.

This historic community hub holds so many memories — and through our support, it will continue to serve local residents for years to come.

🏠 Malton care home hosts successful dementia workshop ahead of grand opening 🏠

Manor Park Care home in Old Malton, the newest addition to Sandstone Care, opening in September 2025, recently held a free Dementia Care Workshop providing invaluable insights and support to caregivers and those interested in learning more about dementia care.

The session covered key topics essential for effective dementia care, including effective communication techniques, understanding and responding to behavioural changes and tips for creating a safe and supportive environment at home.
