I volunteered at a local centre for oneness Christmas fayre, where I assisted in providing foot health services to individuals in need. My role involved helping to educate community members about proper foot care, assisting with foot assessments, and supporting the delivery of basic foot health treatments. This experience allowed me to engage directly with people from diverse backgrounds, improving their awareness of foot hygiene and offering guidance on preventing common foot issues. It was a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the well-being of others and support the health of my local community.

Veruccas, or plantar warts, are small growths caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV) that appear on the soles of the feet, often with a rough surface and tiny black dots inside.

As a foot health practitioner, I would first assess the verrucas to determine their severity and location. Treatment options would include regular debridement to reduce thickened skin, and applying treatment.
