Our annual Christmas memorial service will be held this evening at Oldham Parish Church, stating at 6.30pm.
Our order of service has arrived, the candles are here along with mince pies, biscuits, tea and coffee for refreshments following the service. We look forward to seeing you there and remembering our loved ones during the festive period.
Anyone wishing to join us is more than welcome.

Our annual Christmas Memorial Service has been booked for Friday 6th December. This year we are working alongside Oldham Parish Church in providing a memorial service suitable for everyone. Our services are very special, giving families those important moments to reflect and remember those who are no longer with us. During the service your loved ones names will be read out and you will each be given a candle to light in their honour.
The service will begin at 6.30pm at Oldham Parish Church, Rock Street, Oldham, OL1 3UH and refreshments will be provided following the service allowing you time to talk about your loved ones and speak with your Coop Funeral team if desired. If you would like to join us for this service please contact us at Oldham Coop Funeralcare on 0161 624 2807 or frloldham@coop.co.uk. Please leave your details along with the name of your loved one so that this can be read out during the service.
From the 2nd of December our Christmas memorial tree will also be available in the Oldham funeral home, you are welcome to come in and write a card and place this on our tree. If you are unable to visit the funeral home you are welcome to ring or email us and we can write the card and place it on the tree on your behalf.

We are helping to tackle hygiene poverty in the UK.
Community is of great importance to Coop and we try to help where ever we can. Oldham Coop Funeralcare have recently teamed up with the 'Hygiene Bank' to collect essential beauty and personal care products for those in desperate need. A full list of of suggested items can be found on the website - thehygienebank.com. Our care centre is a drop off point and so we kindly ask that if you do have any unused toiletries that you can donate please drop them into our funeral home on John Street, Oldham , OL8 1DF. You will be helping us to help others.

An introduction to your Coop Funeralcare team at Oldham. I am Rebecca Shipley, Funeral Director based at the Oldham Care Centre. I have worked for Coop for over 7 years, i started as a funeral arranger then went on to become a funeral director after 18 months. It was always my ambition to become a funeral director and I can truly say I love my job. The role can be difficult, both emotionally & physically but when you see the difference you have made by supporting our wonderful families it makes it all worth while. I am proud of the work that we do and we work hard to ensure we provide the best service possible. Our team is available 24 hours, 7 days a week to offer support and guidance every step of the way.
