With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Baber Hamid. May Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him Jannah al-Firdaus.

Baber Hamid was the beloved son of the (late) Abdul Hamid and Parveen Hamid (of Armitage close, Oldham) a cherished brother to Iskander Hamid, Sabir Hamid & Nadir Hamid as well as the father to Yaseen Baber and Mubeen Baber.

May **Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings, elevate his ranks in Jannatul Firdaus, and grant patience to his family and loved ones during this difficult time. We kindly request you to keep him in your du’as.

Funny how funerals are the only time families show up without excuses.
Everyone suddenly has the time. The money. The cleared schedule.

But when you were alive?
They were “too busy.”
They “meant to call.”
They “couldn’t make it this time.”

Death shouldn’t be the only RSVP people honor.
If you can come sit at my coffin, you could’ve sat on my sofa.

If you can show up with flowers when I’m gone, you could’ve shown up with coffee when I was struggling.

Stop waiting until someone’s gone to finally give them the time you claimed you never had.

How true is this though

He was also a trustee of the masjid.

Announcement of Janazah

With sorrow and submission to the decree of Allah (SWT), we share the news of the passing of:

Sadia Bibi
of Coppice, Oldham

She was the daughter of the late Ch. Qaim Din and Shanaz Begum, of 82 Coppice Street, Oldham, OL8 1TP.
She leaves behind her children, Zoya Mahmood and Zidan Mahmood, and her siblings, Mohammed Rashid and Zarqa Bibi.

We ask Allah (SWT) to forgive her sins, have mercy on her soul, and admit her into the highest levels of Jannat-ul-Firdaus. May Allah SWT widen and illuminate her grave, may it also be a garden of peace. May her loved ones be granted ease and patience in the days ahead.
