📢On Sunday 7 September 2025 at 3pm, the government will carry out a national test of the Emergency Alerts system. This means most mobile phones and tablets across the UK will receive a test message, accompanied by a loud siren-like sound and vibration that will last for about 10 seconds.

We are looking for highly motivated, approachable and compassionate individuals to join our team in supporting children and young people (aged 0–25) who are on a pathway for Autism and/or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), along with their families.

We are seeking individuals who are:

🗣️ Skilled communicators, able to build trusting relationships, with families, professionals and practitioners.

🌟 New for 2025! Monthly EHC Hub Support Sessions for Families 🌟

Based on your valuable feedback, through engagement events, services are coming together to offer new monthly support sessions for parents and carers of children and young people aged 0–25 with an Education, Health and Care (EHC) plan 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦.

These sessions have been designed to help you feel more confident navigating the EHC Hub —whether you're preparing for an Annual Review or just want to better understand how to access your child/young persons Education, Health and Care Plan through the hub, you'll receive step-by-step guidance, advice, and the chance to ask questions.

The sessions will be offered by Oldham Council SEND Team.

You will also be able to access information, advice and support from Oldham SEND Information, Advice & Support Service. and peer support and signposting from Oldham Parent Carer Forum.

✨ Booking your place is essential to help us make sure everyone gets the support they need—thank you! 😊
