POV: You’re 23 running your own sports rehab clinic…

Most people see the treatment table, gym sessions, and social media clips.
What they don’t see are the 12-hour days, back-to-back clients, admin at midnight, and trying to build a business without burning yourself out.

This Friday marked 17 days straight working.

7 clients.
12 hours in the clinic.
Gym session squeezed in between.
Then straight back onto programming, rehab plans, and admin.

The degree was tough… but honestly, staying consistent in physio / sports rehab / sports therapy without burning out is the real challenge.

I’m learning that success isn’t just about working harder — it’s about finding balance whilst still giving clients the best possible service.

Grateful to be building this journey out of Hale Training Club and excited for what’s ahead.

Big announcement next week… 👀
Trust me, you’ll want to see this.

calf strain rehab session !!

Rehab session with Alex today getting the calf ready for the mountains in Morocco 🏔️🇲🇦

Big improvements from last week:
⬇️ Pain reduced significantly
🏋️ Heavy calf loading tolerated well
🦘 Plyometrics completed pain free
🏃 Progressive running reintroduced successfully

Today’s focus was building calf strength, restoring ankle mobility, and gradually exposing the tissue back to impact and running demands before hiking abroad.

Session included:
• Heavy single-leg calf work
• Isometric calf holds
• Ankle mobility drills
• Pogos & plyometric prep
• Progressive run exposure

Still some residual tightness through the lateral calf, but overall progressing really well for a likely Grade 1 calf strain 💪

Keep up the hard work mate and great to see another member of down at the clinic get a answer and long term fix to there injury.

Since completing HYROX back in January, training honestly hasn’t been the best.

Between travelling around Australia for 6 weeks and jumping straight back into a busy routine with work, it’s been easy to lose consistency with both training and nutrition.

But over the last couple of weeks there’s been a real shift. Getting back to basics, focusing on building strength again and enjoying training properly.

One thing I’ve noticed as well — training with different people really pushes you. It keeps you accountable and brings the intensity that training deserves.

Coming into May, the goals are simple:

• Drop down to 80kg
• Minimum 3 strength sessions & 1 cardio session per week
• Daily mobility & rehab work to stay on top of old injuries

No chasing perfection. Just building consistency again 🤝

Any questions around training, mobility and prehab advice feel free to drop us a message !

The bulldog is back!! 🥊
/ .boxing.fitness

Great to have long-time sponsor Layton from .mcr in yesterday for a recovery session.

After working together over the past few years, we’ve managed a range of injuries that have set his training back at times. Heading into 2026 with a clear, consistent plan now means he’s staying injury-free after dealing with recurring ankle issues.

Joining the team on a monthly direct debit allows us to stay on top of any niggles that come up during his boxing camps—and if nothing arises, we make sure he’s recovering properly between sessions so he can perform at his best.

If you’re interested in more information about the monthly direct debit with , drop us a DM or message me directly on 07743456950 📩

Adductor rehab progress with ✅

Grade 2 adductor longus tear (tendon-bone junction) + fibrocartilage involvement.

Still reporting that “golf ball” groin pain at the pelvic insertion — but no longer lingering after training 👊

Today we found:
• 27% strength deficit (R vs L)
• Reduced force production + control

Session focus:
➡️ Early change of direction
➡️ Plyometrics for pelvic stability
➡️ Reloading the tendon safely

Despite setbacks (inconsistent rehab), he’s still competing and pushing forward.

Now it’s about building load tolerance and closing that strength gap to get fully back to sports without limitation and risk of futher injury.

Quite week on the socials but there been a reason !! Here we are dedicated to providing the best personalised rehab and treatment plans for our clients to make sure they recover quickly and safely ✅🛠️

Some big news will be coming out in the next few weeks about the business expanding and growing ✨👀

This week seen a huge increase in clients coming to me for lower limb injures especially calf strains and ankle sprains. I aim to start releasing educational content to make rehab more easy to understand and straight forward !!

My personal top tips:
1) Stop being lazy - being proactive in the early stages makes a massive difference !! Get booked in with someobody who knows what they are doing.
2) Get loading quick - Longer you leave a progressive rehab program, longer it will take you to return to your sport and get out of being in pain.
3) The road to recovery is simple but a lot longer and takes more consistency than most people think. Just because you can single calf raise dosent mean your ready to run 10K.
4) Briging that gap between injury and performnace is key !! (Basically get jumping)

Thanks to for using their fantastic space and equipment !!

Tuesday Rehab Sessions — Progress being made 📈

Great to see clients continuing to move through the phases of rehab and building momentum:

Client 1:
Lower back pain following previous medical intervention, now focusing on building lower body and full-body strength to increase resilience and long-term capacity.

Client 2:
20 weeks post-ACL reconstruction.
Consistency and hard work paying off — hitting key markers and progressing into Phase 5: early return to sport after a challenging 6-week transition phase.

Client 3:
Chronic shoulder pain that had a significant impact on both training and daily life.
Big milestone this week — back in the gym and completed their first shoulder session with minimal pain/discomfort.

As the clinic continues to grow, more people are seeing the value of structured rehab and trusting the process with
