I’m excited to announce this group therapeutic workshop, which I’ll be facilitating in Saddleworth in April.

In this transpersonal weekend workshop, we will use the lens of mythology to come into relationship with our unconscious ‘personal myth’ – the limiting stories we tell ourselves that hold us back.

We will then connect to the numinous, archetypal wisdom, themes and energy of the Hero’s Journey myths. Through creative work including visualisation, meditation, artwork and writing, we may transform our relationship with those fear-based barriers and invite more spiritual wholeness, inspiration, liberation and belief.

If you would like to work creatively with mythology to explore what more life may hold for you, please get in touch ASAP*

Today is International Men’s Day. An opportunity to appreciate and celebrate the men in our lives and the contribution they make to society. This year's theme is positive role models.

🧠Men’s mental health can be overlooked for many different reasons. Some men feel pressure to appear strong and self-sufficient, which can lead to difficulty asking for help.

Many feel that there is a stigma around mental health, reporting feeling ashamed or weak for experiencing poor mental health. While others speak of a fear of judgement or being seen as a failure when seeking help.

💚We believe we can all be positive role models in and out of the workplace and make mental health an everyday conversation.

our own masculinity, our own masculine core, in a healthy way? How as men do we welcome the parts of ourselves we dislike the most? Where can we find the validation and recognition we seek? These are the questions that Connor Beaton addresses in his new book, Men’s Work: A Practical Guide to Face Your Darkness, End Self-Sabotage, and Find Freedom.

In this podcast, Tami Simon speaks with Connor about his life and work, discussing why the work of men begins with pain; the consequences of the belief that strength equals suppression; “fathering yourself” and carrying your pain more effectively; welcoming and healing a hurtful inner dialogue; breaking the erroneous rule that blocks real intimacy; transforming the spirit of competition into a positive force for mutual support; the conundrum of male vulnerability; the skill of opening up; leadership, self-respect, and how we conduct ourselves in hard times; emotional sovereignty; self-regulation and the practice of moving from rationalizing into sensation; infidelity and p**n; building your own system of self-validation and recognition; and more.

What does it look like to connect to our own masculinity, our own masculine core, in a healthy way? How as men do we welcome the parts of ourselves we dislike the most? Where can we find the validation and recognition we seek? These are the questions that Connor Beaton addresses in his new book, [.....
