POINT and our partners are proud to offer activities and social opportunities for children and young people with SEND in Oldham to learn, grow, and connect.

We believe every young person should be able to be themselves, feel a sense of belonging, and have the support to explore their passions, build friendships, and reach their full potential.

We’re excited to continue this work and to keep making a positive difference for the children, young people, and families we support in Oldham.

Thank you for letting us share in your children’s journey, for your continued support, and for being part of our community. We’re so grateful to all the families who make our work so rewarding!

🌟 Supporting Oldham families 🌟

Oldham Council is proud to announce a two-year extension of our contract with POINT, a charity supporting families of children with additional needs.

The renewed contract will run from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2028, with funding of £200,000 per year.

The extension will see POINT continue its delivery of Short Breaks Play and Leisure (SBPL) services for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), and their families.

“By extending our contract with POINT, we’re ensuring that this much-valued service can continue supporting local children, young people, and their families to thrive.” — Cllr Mohon Ali, Cabinet Member for Education and Skills.

Their programme of activities help young people build independence, develop confidence, and enjoy meaningful experiences with peers — while families benefit from essential respite.

We’re excited to announce two brand-new programme rollouts — and bookings are officially OPEN! 🎉💙

✨ Winter Half-Term Programme – 16th February to 22nd February 2026
A full week of inclusive fun featuring Holiday Club, Multisport sessions, and Ability Wheelz. Creative play, team games, sensory activities and more.

❄️ Winter Term Programme – 5th January to 15th February 2026
Our new term timetable is here, including Junior Twilight, S.E.N.D Club, Multisport, Musical Beginnings, and our Ability Wheelz Cycle Centre.

Whether your child loves crafts, music, being active, or simply connecting with others in a supportive environment, we’ve got sessions to suit everyone.

We are seeking an individual who is:
