As a family, we have always held ourselves to the very highest professional and ethical standards because we believe that every family we serve deserves nothing less.
Sadly, recent news stories from across the country have highlighted instances of poor, unprofessional, and even criminal behaviour within parts of our sector. These shocking revelations bring shame upon an industry that should be built entirely on trust, care, and dignity.
In fact, since the introduction of the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) Funeral Market Investigation Order in 2021, ๐บ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ป ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฌ ๐ณ๐๐ป๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐น ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฟ๐บ๐ across the UK have been reported for breaching basic legal requirements, such as failing to display price lists or provide standardised information.
Even more distressingly, earlier this year in Hull and East Yorkshire, police removed 34 bodies from the premises of a funeral firm and arrested two people on suspicion of fraud and preventing lawful and decent burial.
These cases make one thing clear: ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ฌ๐๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ง๐๐๐๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ๐๐ซ, ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ง๐๐๐ซ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐๐ ๐ซ๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง.

Itโs time that every family, no matter who they choose to care for their loved one, can have complete confidence in the professionalism, integrity, and standards of their funeral director.
