When our client Cumberland Council approached us for help supporting the local Scouts group at Branthwaite, we were more than happy to step in. The group was struggling financially to manage their site, so we took a look through our region and found an older Ransomes 2130 cylinder mower that was no longer in use and nearing release from the business.
Our team gave the mower a full service to ensure it was in great condition, and it has now been handed over to the Scouts group to help them maintain their camp and activity field.
Alan Woodward, Scout Warden, shared his gratitude: "Many thanks once again for sorting out a mower for the Scout camp. We can’t thank you enough as this will make such a difference for us, with keeping the camp/activity field in good condition."
Stewart Henderson, Tivoli’s Regional Manager said: “It’s been a fantastic opportunity to give something back to the community and help the local Scout group. They provide a great opportunity for children to learn new skills while having a positive effect on their health and wellbeing.”
Darren Mulligan, Regional Director said: “We were delighted to gift the machine to Alan and the local Scout group. It breathed new life into a machine that would have been retired, and we’re proud to make a small contribution that supports the incredible work The Scouts do for young people and their communities.”
