Future Safety Helmet Harnesses

This video is the first in a series exploring the different harness systems available across the Manta helmet range from Future Safety.

We begin with the standard harness system, included with all Manta helmets. Designed for comfort, stability and ease of adjustment, it provides a secure fit in demanding operational environments, where reliable head protection is critical.

In high-risk industries, it’s not just about the helmet itself, but how it performs in real-world conditions. We focus on fit, retention, and confidence in movement. A well-designed harness system plays a critical role in keeping the helmet secure, and the user safe, when it matters most.

The latest edition of the Shipping Industry Guidance on Pilot Transfer Arrangements features Captain Arie Palmers on the front cover, captured mid-transfer, climbing a pilot ladder.

This guidance, produced by industry bodies including the International Chamber of Shipping and International Maritime Pilots' Association (IMPA), reinforces the importance of safe boarding practices in what remains one of the highest-risk activities in maritime operations.

Arie is widely respected across the industry for his commitment to pilot safety, particularly when it comes to raising awareness around pilot transfer risks and standards.

It’s great to see that same commitment reflected in his choice of PPE. We are pleased to see that Arie is wearing a Future Safety Manta 4 helmet in the image!

FREE VISORS FOR UK VOLUNTEER SAR TEAMS.

Following from the visors we sent to York Boat Rescue. As we now know they work for rescue requirements. We would like offer free visors c/w visor carrier and helmet fitting for the Manta to any UK volunteer SAR team who has Manta helmets.
Sorry but our carrier only fits the Manta.

People forget you are volunteers charities and don’t get paid to go out to rescue people in the time of Coronavirus

The visor is optical 1 correct, impact B-120m/s and 8” long to cover all the face.
Unfortunately due to demand for materials for the NHS. We have limited stocks till I can get more.
