🎄 Christmas Period Update from Sports Physio UK 🎄

As we head into the festive period, we’re running on reduced staffing across the clinics. A few of our team are taking some well-earned time off to recharge, spend time with family, and come back firing on all cylinders in the New Year.

👉 The good news?
We still have a small amount of availability left, so if you’re hoping to get seen before Christmas, now is the time to act.

🎅 Christmas Eve
We’ll be closing a little earlier so our team can enjoy some proper family time. No apologies there, people matter.

💻 The online booking system, however, does not celebrate Christmas

As we head into the Christmas and New Year period, we want to keep our Oldham patients fully up to date with how the clinic will be operating over the festive break.

✨ The clinic is open on selected days between Christmas and New Year
✨ Practitioner working hours vary on some days
✨ Reception hours are reduced during the festive period

🎄💪 You are worth it! 💪🎄

Christmas is busy. Stress levels rise, routines slip, and aches that you’ve been ignoring all year suddenly start shouting a bit louder.

This is your reminder that looking after your body is not selfish, it’s smart.

You don’t need to be injured to deserve care. You don’t need to be broken to press pause. Sometimes the most productive thing you can do at this time of year is reset, recover, and go into the new year moving better than you did last year.

Some of our team are out today, doing exactly what we encourage everyone to do, taking time for themselves and celebrating Christmas.

With our team travelling in from far and wide, it’s never easy to get everyone in the same room at the same time, but nobody is forgotten. That matters to us, always.

What a day so far. Proper festive energy, great laughs and a well earned pause on a busy year of progress and growth.

No admin team, no phone service, no Sunday treatment clinics.

Why? Because today we’re celebrating Christmas with a team-led Christmas party, organised entirely by the people who make this clinic what it is. Not the boss. The team.

At Sports Physio UK Oldham, our physiotherapists, admin team and clinicians run the day-to-day business, so it only feels right that they decide how to celebrate a huge year.

🌟 Big News for 2026 at Sports Physio UK! 🌟

We’ve been working behind the scenes on something exciting that will support young people in our community and help shape the next generation of healthcare, business and marketing professionals.

Today Scott visited Crompton House School to present our brand new Employer & Work Experience Pack, outlining how students can gain real experience with Sports Physio UK.

And yes… you may spot students in our clinics in the future, but only those who have gone through the formal application process. That process will be revealed in the New Year, and it’s designed to make sure students are prepared, supported and ready to learn in a real clinical environment. Application process, interview...Not a walk in the park!

We know our patients love being part of our community, so if you do see a student shadowing, observing or learning alongside our team, rest assured they’ll be supervised, structured and fully briefed before stepping foot in clinic.

You may also see Scott popping into Crompton House throughout the year, supporting careers days, assemblies and mock interviews. Look out for Boney Jack in the passenger seat hitching a ride to the school hall. We’re proud to play a part in helping young people find their confidence and discover future career paths.

2026 is looking big for growth, learning and giving back and we are greatful for always backing what we do.

🎄🎅 The end of the year is closing in faster than Santa on a caffeine boost and our diary is feeling the squeeze. 🎅🎄

We are still open throughout the festive period although on a reduced team so our staff can recharge properly.
