Happy International Nurses Day 🤍

I qualified as a Registered Nurse in 2010 at the University of Salford, and since then my nursing journey has taken me through many different roles, from palliative care nurse, chemotherapy nurse, and research nurse, to now continuing my career as a practice nurse alongside aesthetics.

Nursing is not for the faint hearted. It is one of the hardest, yet most rewarding careers imaginable. To be a nurse, you have to be strong, resilient, compassionate, and truly made from strong stuff.

The thing that stands out the most for me throughout my career is the people I’ve met along the way. I’ve made lifelong friendships and found the most incredible work family. Some of the most beautiful people I know are nurses. 🫶🏻

Today is for celebrating every single nurse out there who continues to show up (no matter what’s going on behind the scenes) care endlessly, and make a difference every day.

I often get asked what treatments I receive, so here goes… ✨

✨ Treating the Masseter ✨

This client came into clinic desperate to relieve her jaw tension and constant clenching.

On assessment, it was clear her masseter muscles were working overtime, creating significant bulk at the lower face and contributing to a heavier jawline. This constant overactivity is not only uncomfortable but can also impact facial harmony.

By carefully treating the masseter muscle, we were able to reduce that excess tension and soften the overall appearance of the jaw.
The result?

Less tension, less bulk, improved contour, and most importantly, relief from the persistent clenching and discomfort.
