A new month means new trails and more chances to get outside with the StrongHer community.

This month’s hikes include:

🌅 Sunrise Hike – Indian’s Head via Alphin Pike (Saturday 4th April)
🌳 Brereton Heath Nature Reserve Family Walk (Thursday 9th April)

From family-friendly nature walks to scenic Peak District adventures, April’s hikes are all about fresh air, movement, and great company.

Imagine a weekend where you step away from routine and spend your days walking through beautiful countryside, watching the sunset from the hills, and your evenings relaxing with a sound bath or toasting marshmallows by the fire pit.

This 3 day countryside retreat is designed for women who want to slow down, recharge and reconnect in nature.

What’s included:
🥾 3 beautiful hikes (including a sunset hike)
🌿 Relaxing sound bath and reiki session

Join us for a scenic Sunday walk around the stunning Derwent Valley and reservoir circular, a route known for its sweeping water views, rolling hills and peaceful woodland sections.

This StrongHer Hike is about more than just miles. It’s about fresh air, steady movement, meaningful conversation and showing up for yourself in a supportive community of women.

We walk at an inclusive pace - no rushing, no pressure, and no one left behind.

Amazing to have new followers lately, I thought I should introduce myself again and a bit of information at what StrongHer is all about 🧡🩷… firstly WELCOME☺️..

I’m Laura 👋🏼
A mum of 3 who went back to college at 25 to become a personal trainer, and graduated in 2025 (stunning age of 30😂😩) as a sports nutritionist to deepen my knowledge of health and nutrition to be able to support the women I work with further into their journeys.

StrongHer started as a name for my coaching…
but it’s grown into so much more than a brand.

It’s a community🥰

A space where women feel supported.
Where strength isn’t just physical.
Where confidence is built slowly, safely, and without pressure.

My 1–1 personal training sessions are about more than workouts, they’re about helping women feel capable in their own bodies again.
My nutrition support isn’t about restriction, it’s about education, balance, and fuelling yourself properly.

And the hiking club? That’s about getting outside, clearing your head, and realising you’re not doing life alone. I started hiking more this year because I needed it myself. The space. The thinking time. The reset.
But I also wanted it to have purpose to create something that brought women together.

Because sometimes it’s not about the gym.
Sometimes it’s not about the miles.

It’s about showing up for yourself.
It’s about the mental benefits.
The social connection.
The confidence that grows quietly over time.
StrongHer is strength in every sense - physical, mental, emotional.

Join StrongHer Hikes for a gentle, grounding woodland walk around the beautiful Wizard’s Wander at Alderley Edge. A morning of fresh air, conversation and connection.

Whether you’re walking with your mum, honouring her memory, bringing your children, meeting friends, or simply carving out time for yourself , this space is for you.

No pressure.
No performance.
Just steady steps and supportive community.

Parking is free for National Trust members. A fee may apply for non-members.

🎟 Tickets: Only adults attending need to purchase a ticket. Children are welcome to join without a ticket but remain the responsibility of their parent/guardian at all times. Available at eventbrite on my linktree (in bio)

The woodland assault course makes this a lovely option giving children space to play and explore on the walk.
