Did you know there’s a vaccine for HPV?

Protection against this virus can also help protect you from the risk of cervical cancer. This is usually given to children in school, but if you missed yours, most people under the age of 25 are eligible for a free dose.

Here at The Sexual Health Hub, we offer the vaccine for free for people at higher risk of HPV including those with HIV, s*x workers and men under 45 who have s*x with men.

To celebrate Men’s Health Week, we want to raise the importance of checking your testicles for possible signs of cancer.

Usually done in the bath or shower, there’s an easy self-examination method which can help catch early signs of the disease. Catching it early makes it much easier to cure.

Simply roll each one between your thumb and finger and check for lumps and any changes in size. If you feel anything you’re not sure about, get it checked out.

With rates around the UK continuing to rise, it’s never been more important to get yourself tested for syphilis.

Most commonly passed through unprotected s*x and sharing s*x toys, it can often be treated with antibiotics but if left, it can potentially have serious health implications.
