Male Carer Needed in Ludlow

We are looking for a friendly and reliable male carer to provide companionship and support in Ludlow.

Start Date: End of January

The client would like companionship. He has dementia but can communicate his needs and wishes. There is no equipment in place and he is able to mobilize with support. He will require support and encouragement with all aspects of personal care. He is able to complete his own personal care but will need the carer to encourage him to do so. The carer will need to support choosing clothes and ensure that he is at least washing daily. He is able to use the toilet as and when needed. The carer is to support all daily living and complete domestic duties daily.

There are no pets or children.
Carers break are to be taken in 1 hour intervals throughout the day.

Rate of pay: £780.00 PAYE (Self employed rates are higher)

THE CARERS WILL NEED OLIVER MCGOWAN TRAINING.
We are pleased to confirm a new placement opportunity for two female carers based in Redditch.
The client has Cerebral palsy, learning difficulties and epilepsy. She is hoisted and will require support with all transfers. She uses an electric powered wheelchair for mobility.
She is a very sociable person and would like the carer to support with activities.

The client has Parkinson's and is able to mobilise unaided. The client likes to be independent but will need support.
She likes to be sociable and enjoys going out - which is why the carer is required to drive. There is an automatic car at the property, which the Carer can drive if needed.
The carer is entitled to a two-hour break each day. There are no pets present in the property.
