Imagine getting strong from one workout… 😅

Same goes for food -
one “off” choice doesn’t ruin your progress.

It’s the daily habits that matter.

If you’re constantly tired, it changes everything.

Workouts feel harder.
Planning food feels harder.
Even starting feels harder.

So it’s easy to think you just need more discipline.

But most of the time, it’s not that.

It’s that your body is already under too much pressure.

Not enough food.
Not enough rest.
Too much going on.

And trying to push harder on top of that usually makes things worse.

Sometimes the most helpful thing you can do
is take a step back and support your body a bit better.

A simple place to start:
• Go to bed 30 minutes earlier than usual
• Eat properly during the day (not just at night)
• Get some daylight early in the day

Nothing extreme — just small things that help your body feel a bit more human again💪🏻

Let me ask you something…

Are you actually struggling with fat loss..
or are you just exhausted?

Because they can look the same.

You plan to train… then you’re too drained.
You try to eat well… then you end up picking at whatever’s easiest.
You tell yourself to “be better”… but it feels like a constant battle.

So you assume the problem is discipline.

But what if it’s not?

What if you’re just trying to run a demanding routine on an empty tank?

Most people don’t stop to question that part.
They just push harder… and wonder why it’s not working.

Something to think about before you try to “do more” this week🤔

We spoke about standards on Monday.

But standards don’t fail.
They just get ignored.

And usually for one reason:

They’re too vague.

“Eat better.”
“Train more.”
“Be consistent.”

That’s not a standard. That’s a wish.

A standard is specific:
• “I train Monday, Wednesday, Friday.”
• “I include protein in 3 meals.”
• “I walk 8k steps daily.”

Clear standards are easier to follow.
Vague ones are easy to avoid.

You don’t need motivation.
You need standards.

A standard says:
“I train, even when I’m tired.”
“I eat well, even when it’s inconvenient.”
“I keep promises to myself.”

Motivation comes and goes.
Standards stick around.

Build those instead🤝🏻

Ever catch yourself thinking
“I’ll eat later” or “I should probably train first”?

It’s subtle, but it adds up.

Food starts to feel like something you have to justify…
instead of something your body actually needs.

That’s where things usually start to feel harder than they should.

🍓🥦It's International Plant Appreciation Day..

You’re probably wondering why I’m talking about this… But stay with me for a second.

We’re always chatting about “eating a colourful plate” and what that actually means is loading your meals with a variety of veg.

Different colours = different nutrients.
And your body needs all of them, not just chicken and protein shakes.

Don’t get me wrong, protein matters a lot.
But it’s not the full picture.

If your meals are beige and repetitive, you’re missing out on:

– fibre (which keeps you full, supports digestion and helps keep your energy and hunger more stable throughout the day)

– vitamins and minerals (these support everything from your immune system, to your skin, to how well your body actually uses the food you eat)

– actual enjoyment (when food looks and tastes good, you’re far more likely to stick with it instead of feeling like you’re just “on a plan”)

A simple way to think about it:
Start with your protein… then ask “what colours can I add to this?”

Throw some spinach on the plate.
Add peppers to your wrap.
Stick some berries in your yoghurt.

It doesn’t need to be fancy. It just needs to be there.

Because the goal isn’t perfection…
It’s building meals that actually support you long term.

And if your plate looks better, your food tastes better…
that’s just girl maths.
