🤔Serious question: can people still parallel park?

There’s been a lot of conversation lately about parallel parking around the gym… and honestly, it’s been quite entertaining.

But it got me thinking.

Most people can parallel park.
They just don’t do it often enough to feel confident.

They overthink it.
They avoid it if they can.
And when they have to do it, it feels stressful and awkward.

Sound familiar?

A lot of habits are the same.
Training.
Getting into a routine.
Showing up when it would be easier not to.

It’s not that people can’t do these things.
It’s that they haven’t practiced them consistently.

Confidence doesn’t come first.
Repetition does.

And just like parking, it doesn’t have to be perfect. It just has to get you into the right space.

Bit by bit.
One rep at a time.
That’s how habits are built🤝🏻

Nutrition works best when it’s habitual, not heroic.

Most people don’t struggle with nutrition because they don’t care or don’t know what to do.
They struggle because busy days + no plan = convenience wins.

And in the world we live in now, convenience is everywhere.

That’s why habits matter more than motivation.

Consistent meals.
Consistent grocery shops.
A loose plan for the week.

Meal planning isn’t about being strict or eating the same thing on repeat.
It’s about reducing decision fatigue so you’re not trying to make “good choices” when you’re tired, stressed, or short on time.

When food is planned, even roughly, you’re far more likely to:
• Eat regularly
• Get enough protein and nutrients
• Avoid the all-or-nothing spiral
• Feel more in control without feeling restricted

You don’t need a fancy system.
You need habits that work in your life.

Simple. Repeatable. Realistic.

That’s how consistency with nutrition is built and that’s what actually leads to progress.

And if you ever feel stuck or overwhelmed trying to make this work, we’re always here to support you🙌🏻

New year. Same you. Just more consistent✨

We hope everyone had a genuinely lovely break with the people who matter most.
Time off like that is rare, and it should be enjoyed.

I’ll be honest.. over the holidays I ease up on my usual priorities too. More rest. More food. More family time. Fewer alarms. And I don’t feel guilty about it. Life isn’t meant to be lived at full throttle all year.

That said… coming back to reality can feel hard. And this is usually when the internet starts shouting “NEW YEAR, NEW ME!” from every direction.

Personally I’m not a big fan of that idea.

You don’t need to become a completely different person to make progress or change. You don’t need a personality overhaul or an extreme plan you’ll abandon by February because you don’t enjoy it.

Goals matter, they give direction.
But consistency is what actually moves the needle.

Small, realistic habits.
Repeated often.
Aligned with the life you actually live.
That’s what builds results that last.

So if you’re setting goals this year, amazing.
And if you haven’t yet, it might be worth thinking about.

And if you’re feeling unsure where to start, or you just don’t want to do it alone, we’re always here to support you, guide you, and cheer you on.

It’s not new year, new you.
It’s new year, new consistent you👏🏻
