I have some very exciting news - A NEW VENUE!!! I’m delighted to share that Nurture & Grow will be moving community classes to the beautiful HEAL Conscious Living (At the Foundry Lane car park. ) It’s a gorgeous wellbeing studio - perfect for my sessions. And I’m thrilled to be able to support another local business. Win - win! 🙌

Thursday 4:30-5:30pm
£50 for 6 week block 💜

We will begin on Thursday 11th September. Let me know if you’d like to enrol your child in a nurturing class where they can build friendships, confidence and resilience.

🌲💜 NURTURE & GROW can facilitate nature-based, creative FOREST SCHOOL THEMED SESSIONS at a forest or outdoor area near you! 💜🌲

📣 FUNDING OPPORTUNITY: Grants of £3-5,000 available for UK schools, PTAs and not-for-profit organisations, for projects that promote a better understanding of the environment.

Eligible projects include:
- environmental education schemes such as forest schools, farm visits, and nature trails;
- conservation and biodiversity initiatives;
- school farms and tree planting programmes;
- and activities that improve access to the countryside for young people and disadvantaged groups.
Community-led projects, including sensory gardens, eco-classrooms, and heritage-focused schemes, are also considered.

Applications can be submitted at any time and are reviewed quarterly by the Trustees.

📚🚌Schools Back - Community Notice ✏️🚸

With Children all back at schools this week, we want to point out to parents and children that McCullaghs Classic is here as part of the local community as a safe place.

We are close to several schools and we know that the school run doesn’t always go to plan. That’s why our doors are open as a safe and welcoming place for children if they ever need it.

If your child:
🚌 Misses their bus or parent is running late for collection
📱 Finds their phone battery has died
🕒 Needs somewhere safe to wait until they are collected

They are welcome to come to our spacious seating area in store, a safe and warm place to wait. With multiple phone charging stations it makes it the ideal friendly safe place for your child to wait. Members of our staff will be available to assist if required.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Parents – please point our store out to your children so they know where to go if they ever need a safe place. We want every child (and parent) to feel reassured knowing support is nearby.
