A little bit more about the Therapist behind TLC
Hi Everyone My name is Clare. I am the proprietor of both T40 Sports & Remedial Therapies, & my new clinic The Tyrone Lymph Clinic @ T40. I have been a massage therapist for over 7 years prior to which i worked as a Personal trainer, body pump & jump fit instructor for 3 years. I’m currently qualified to the highest national level possible in theraputic massage having studies VTCT’s levels 3,4 & 5 and went on to complete my assessors award qualifying me to not only teach other students but be part of internal assessment and quality assurance maintaining a high standard of learning in future therapists.
My journey with massage therapy started out predominantly in the sports sector, where i worked for a GAC for 3 years providing routine treatment as well as pitch side physio & intra game first aid support to players. While also Treating, runners, ballers, office workers, tradies, lorry drivers, people with injury, chronic pain, or stress.
Over the last 7 years i have developed the t40 clinic into a place where people come for pain management and relaxation or simply just an hour out of the lane of life. I pride myself on the fact that people leave my clinic a little if not alot better or lighter than they come in should be from a physical pain or mental/emotional load.
I also have worked as a lecturer for the SWC teaching students the level3/4 curriculum.

In the last 3 years the clinic has seen some massive changes where it outgrew working from my home and transitioned to its own premises in Drumquin, soon after this my books were closed to new clients as i was at capacity, and soon after that our twin girls came along to keep me extra busy. They are now 19months old and the absolute light of both mine & my hubby to be, Aidan’s life.
During Postpartum i had begun to do some research into therapeutic interventions that don’t require medical input but that help people, ladies in particular, feel better mentally & physically and in particular hormonally. The treatment that kept surfacing was Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage. After trying the treatment in Belfast myself i set about finding a reliable training provider so i could go learn to bring this modality to Tyrone Lymph Clinic.
And so TLC (Tyrone Lymph Clinic) @ T40 was born.
This treatment requires a clinic all of its own. The benefits are staggering for a treatment that uses no intervention other that effectively applied experienced massage techniques, A sound knowledge of anatomy and physiology is essential to execute the treatment correctly. As i am an experience IASTM therapist i can and do use acro tools when necessary and i can also support lymphatic drainage with my experience in kineso taping, all providing the optimum Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage experience in Tyrone. Every single client to date has reported palpable and visible physical results with undeniable mental, cognitive & emotional benefits. What a privilege it is for me to be instrumental in making people feel so positive & well in their own skin.
