We are delighted to announce that one of the Brookmount team, Shawn will graduate this Thursday with Honours in his Masters Degree in Pharmacy. Shawn will undertake his first 6 months foundation pharmacist training year with us before progressing to the South West Acute Hospital in order to qualify as a Pharmacist.

Experiencing UTI symptoms? You may not need to see your GP.

If you’re female and aged between 16 and 64, you can now get assessed and treated for Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) symptoms directly at your local community pharmacy — no appointment needed.

Look out for symptoms like:
• A burning sensation when p*eing
• Needing to p*e urgently or more often than usual
• Lower abdominal discomfort

Your pharmacist can offer free treatment to relieve pain and fever — and if needed, they can provide an antibiotic.
