Relax Restore Reflexology Started in 2006 by Mrs Breege Mc Laughlin offering reflexology to all, with a specialism in maternity reflexology.

Reflexology is a holistic treatment based on the principal that there are areas and points on the feet that are mapped via the nervous system to corresponding points of the body. Pressure applied to certain areas stimulates the movement of energy along the nerve channel's, this helps restore homeostasis (balance) in the whole body. Reflexology is suitable for all age group's from young baby to later life. In 2010 I completed further training in fertility and maternity reflexology which prepared me for working specifically with women supporting them with fertility issues and throughout pregnancy. Trials have found that those recieving regular treatments tend to deliver closer to term and have shorter labours.

Care for Cancer is seeking a Client Service Assistant to join our centre in Omagh to provide practical help and support to people who have received a cancer diagnosis through the JobStart Scheme.

This temporary role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in administration, communication, and client care within a well established local charity.

You’ll assist the charity with day-to-day operations, warmly welcome clients, and support the set up of programmes — building valuable transferable skills in a caring and supportive environment.

Show some love/support to Des Desmond McLaughlin, who is taking on an incredible challenge at XP5 Fitness to raise essential funds for Care for Cancer. He’ll be completing a half marathon (21,980 meters) on a rowing machine.

Des started training with me last year and expressed his desire to tackle a challenge after seeing other XP5 members do the same. Together, we devised a plan and settled on the rowing machine.

What makes this challenge particularly remarkable is that Des has a neurological condition known as hemiplegia, which affects the right side of his body and causes paralysis. It’s a pleasure to train with him; he’s always pushing forward with no excuses. This challenge is bound to inspire many others.
