We had another busy week! We managed to play some games, make a start on our St Patrick's decorations and make Mother's Day cards. All finished off with some lovely treats for everyone yesterday. 😊

Last week at Springlawn, we said goodbye to someone who has been a huge part of our home for the past 19 years. Our cook Iwona.

Thank you for the thousands of meals, the early mornings, the busy lunchtimes, and for keeping both our residents and staff very well fed over the years. You’ve brought comfort, smiles, and full plates to so many people — and that’s something truly special.

Your hard work, kindness, and dedication have meant so much to everyone here at Springlawn, and the home definitely won’t be the same without you.

Wishing you all the very best in your next chapter — and remember, you’re always welcome back… especially if you’re bringing cake! 👩‍🍳🍰

We've been pretty quiet on here of late but that doesn't mean we haven't been busy!
Residents have been enjoying games, crafts, pamper days and even weekly visits to the Strule Arts Centre! 🎨🎲🎭

We've had a busy start to the festive celebrations in Springlawn this month 🎄🎄🤶🎅
Many thanks to Asda and Order of Malta for leaving in some wonderful gifts and treats for our residents. Everyone will enjoy opening their gifts on Christmas morning 🎁
We've also had the wonderful choirs from Holy Family PS and Carrickmore PS in entertaining everyone 🎶 the residents really enjoyed all the fabulous singing 😀
We have plenty more still to come over the next few days!
