SLTs play a vital role in helping individuals with Aphasia regain and maximize their communication abilities through personalised assessments, targeted therapies, and ongoing support.

Aphasia affects communication skills. Individuals living with Aphasia following a Stroke may present with various language challenges such as difficulty understanding what others say, using speech/talking, reading or with writing (or any combination of these skills).

Welcome to my new page!

Over the next few weeks I will become more active on this page. For now I just want to highlight what I do! Often people don't realise what Speech and Language Therapists working with adults do.

SLTs work in a wide range of areas. If you are seeking a SLT makesure they have experience and expertise in the area you require help with.

I work only with adults.

I specialise in treatments to help restore, protect and to improve the voice.

I am an experienced SLT with significant experience (19years) supporting people with speech, language and communication difficulties following stroke and other acquired brain injuries.

When I am not working clinically I am busy lecturing undergraduate SLT students in a local University 🎊
