Hello everyone, I am absolutely thrilled to be providing Birthing, Parent (and later Tinies and Wrigglers) classes through the Daisy Foundation here in County Tyrone and County Fermanagh. With my first baby at home keeping me really busy I fully appreciate that the journey of pregnancy, childbirth & parenting can be completely life changing but one I wouldn't change for the world! classes and workshops are a practical, educational and supportive journey through labour and birth and we support all birth choices & parenting styles. Daisy Birthing® started out as a ‘yoga-inspired’ pregnancy class, which has now been developed in to our own Active Antenatal™ method, which will support you from 14 weeks of pregnancy right up until your baby’s birth. The benefits from pregnancy yoga of improving balance and circulation, learning how to breathe effectively, relax, use calming techniques, lower stress, meeting other pregnant women, improving posture and alleviating pregnancy symptoms are the tools women are in search of during pregnancy. Our Daisy Birthing® Active Antenatal™ method delivers all the benefits mentioned but in addition to all of that you can also expect to learn traditional antenatal education, active birth techniques, optimum foetal positioning education with relaxation. Our all-inclusive birth preparation and baby care workshop combines antenatal and active birth education with the use of movement, breath work, relaxation and birth hypnosis. Practical baby care demonstration are delivered alongside un-biased education on parenting choices, safety and baby calming techniques. Continuity of Care is essential and later in the year Daisy Tinies and Daisy Wrigglers classes will provide a unique, all-inclusive combination of positive touch, movement, education and support.
