I had the pleasure last week of training an amazing group of people from S&B Herba Foods Ltd. What a fantastic team of people you have working at S&B Andy Madine. Really engaging and I love the banter! Thank you for inviting me along to run the training for you. They all passed their Level 2 First Aid for Mental Health!
Yesterday I was able to return to S&B Herba to deliver their certificates. It was nice to catch up with a couple of those I trained last week.

What a day yesterday! A fantastic training day running a level 2 First Aid for Mental Health course for an amazing group of people from an academy trust based over the water in Birkenhead!
Then a quick dash back over to Southport Football Club to give talk about training at Sandgrounders business group.
All in all a fab day helping people gain a better knowledge and understanding of mental health as a whole and how it can benefit and support not only those around them but them themselves.

In construction, safety is non-negotiable. We gear up everyday to protect ourselves physically, but what about protecting our mental health?

Men in construction are statistically more at risk of su***de than workers in most other industries. Long hours, physical strain, pressure on site, it all takes its toll.

Talking about stress, burnout or anxiety should be as 𝘯𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘭 as doing a toolbox talk.

We talk about strength in construction, it's not just about dealing with heavy loads, but also about solving problems under pressure and working through tough conditions.
