apy nurse. In the last 10 years I qualified to be an Independent Nurse Prescriber and also an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and my job is focused in the general practice. This is certainly one of the proudest achievements, because I can treat patients with a variety of conditions and symptoms independtly, write prescriptions and learning curve just never ends. Aesthetic treatments also becoming my daily practice, as more and more women looking for simple and less invasive ways to improve skin quality and address ageing signs. I have a home based treatment room, which allows me to schedule flexible appointments, give as much time as needed for each customer and generally to work in the unrushed atmosphere. Surgeons first tested B toxin in humans in 1978. It was used to treat eye impairments.

In 1987, doctor in Vancouver noticed that patients with blepharospam had diminished frown lines after receiving injections around the eyes.

In 1989 was approved for therapeutic use.

In 2002 was approved for cosmetic treatments.

First report issued in 1992 suggested B could be used for cosmetic purposes.

Today, B toxin is widely used for medical purposes, including the treatment of migraines, excessive sweating, and overactive bladder, to name just a few. And, of course, we ladies love it for its beauty benefits!
