This morning, we had a lovely visit from the pupils of Gray's Farm Primary Academy. The residents really enjoy their visits and together, they coloured in pictures of St George and the Dragon and played chess. Just before they went back to school for fish fingers and chips, they had a little tour of the garden as they are going to be part of Pemberley Manor Care Home in Bloom!

Happy St George's Day from everyone at Pemberley Manor Care Home!
We have had a busy day!
This morning, the resident's finished off their St George's Day artwork, which they started a few weeks go on World Art Day.
Today, they put all the pieces together to create a masterpiece of which they are very proud!
Many thanks to Creative Mojo Ltd for a wonderful box of inspiration!
This afternoon, we enjoyed Armchair Travel to England - Quizzes, fun facts and a traditional pub sing along!
We finished the afternoon with a cup of tea and homemade fresh strawberry scones - Many thanks to our catering team - They were delicious!

Celebrating Earth Day at Pemberley Manor Care Home. 🌍
This afternoon, after a game of traditional Bingo, (many thanks to Victor for calling the numbers), the residents played Earth Day picture bingo - Lots of lovely images highlighting the importance of being kind to our planet! 🌎
Conversation flowed around our Country Court in Bloom 🌻🌹🪻🌸🌺 project and how we could go greener!💚We have had a very generous donation of a water butt which will make watering so much easier for our residents! 💚

This morning, the residents of Birkin Lodge Care & Nursing Home were out and about on the minibus and came to visit us at Pemberley Manor Care Home for our morning activity and what a great time we had together!
We took a look back at what happened during this week in history, had a sing-along {Lots of armchair jiving to Rock Around the Clock!) and had a go at the weekly Competition Quiz together.

We started with flower arranging - The residents of Pemberley Manor Care Home spent time together creating beautiful arrangements, chatting about their favourite flowers and shared memories about arranging flowers in their local church.

Residents, families and staff gathered in Darwin lounge for a wonderful afternoon of live music from Rick Boxall.
The room was filled with smiles, laughter and plenty of toe-tapping, singing and dancing as everyone came together to enjoy the performance.
Moments like these truly highlight the spirit of our community bringing people together, creating memories, and celebrating the joy that music can bring.

We were delighted to host a fantastic Business & Brunch event here at Pemberley Manor Care Home! 🥂

It was wonderful to welcome a range of local professionals into our home for a morning of networking, great conversation, and a chance to experience everything Pemberley Manor has to offer. Our talented kitchen team put on a delicious spread of bacon sandwiches and a tempting selection of pastries, which went down a treat! 🥓🥐

Guests also enjoyed a guided tour of our home, giving them a closer look at our warm, welcoming environment and the high standard of care we’re so proud to provide.

To make the occasion even more special, we raised a glass of Bucks Fizz together to celebrate our recent CQC ‘Good’ rating, a fantastic achievement for our whole team! 🍾

A big thank you to everyone who joined us, we look forward to welcoming you back again soon!
