What’s your guesses????

This is probably the most special time of year for everyone connected to our charity.

We have now gifted our final donations of pyjamas, and it’s time to reflect on what we’ve achieved over the past year.

We were incredibly busy in 2024, gifting just under 29,000 pairs of pyjamas. It was a crazy year and, by far, our most successful to date.

We’ve been collecting size sheets from our area coordinators and now know our total for 2025!

We beat last years numbers 🎉🎉🎉

Who wants to guess what our total is? (Keeping in mind that last year was an exceptionally strong year for us).

Yesterday we drew the lucky winners of the amazing raffle that our Funeral Specialist Kat organised all on her own in aid of Demelza Charity in memory of a special little girl.

We managed to raise a great amount of money £360 so we are so grateful to each and every one of you that donated both towards the raffle and at our Christmas memorial service, it means a lot 😊

A special little mention to Kat who is one of our newest members of staff at our Locksbottom branch; the passion and commitment to organising this all on her own to raise money was fantastic 👏

Thank you also to all of the local businesses for donating prizes and Sweet Pea Florist for so kindly providing us with this beautiful bouquet as a prize 💐

Today we feature the lovely Nigel from Francis Chappells and Sons, part of Dignity Funerals! 🌟 Nigel transitioned to Funeral Directing after a successful career on stage and screen. 🎭 He is also a talented singer and is always ready to lend his voice for our memorial events. 🎤 We were so fortunate to have him lead us, alongside a fabulous rainbow hearse, in the London Pride Parade 2023! 🌈 This time of year, you can find Nigel playing Father Christmas for community and charity events 🎅
