Typical Ageing or Dementia? Knowing the Difference.

A reminder to let you know the event is this week.

πŸ“… Thursday 19th February
⏰ 3–5pm

As we age, it’s normal to become a little more forgetful, misplacing keys, forgetting a name, or walking into a room and wondering why we’re there in the first place. But how do we know when forgetfulness is part of typical ageing and when it might be something more?

Join us for an informative community talk where our Dementia Care Coach, Georgina Marshall, will explore the key signs and symptoms that may help distinguish general age related changes from Dementia.
This session is ideal for older adults, family members, carers, and anyone wanting to better understand cognitive changes and when to seek support.

πŸ“§ For more information or to book a place, please please call 01689 769253 or email Dorothy.ayonmike@careuk.com

We’d love to see you there πŸ’™

Good Deeds Day

Good deeds day is celebrated yearly, it encourages people to perform acts of kindness no matter how big or small.

The chef baked cookies and a Victorian sponge cake which was taken to The Salvation Army - St Mary Cray and Orpington fire station.

Mark and Emma were appreciative of the good gesture and said "I should thank the chef".

Big Garden Birdwatch

The children from Perry Hall primary school came to Foxbridge House to take part in the big garden birdwatch campaign. Each child had a bird box and used a screwdriver to fasten the screws on and paint it.

Their school teacher said "the children had such a lovely time, they were all still talking about it today".

The residents said "the children are well behaved and creative".
