Foxbridge House in Orpington, Kent, is a purpose-built home offering nursing, respite and residential care, as well as specialist dementia care. The bright and spacious home has been designed to create a lively, family atmosphere. Residents can enjoy a wealth of luxury features, including a hair and nail salon, a retro-themed cinema and a coffee shop perfect for socialising. All of the bedrooms have en-suite facilities, a TV and a 24-hour nurse call system. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are the cornerstones of daily life at Foxbridge House. The team places importance on protecting residents' meal-times as good nutrition and hydration are key to staying well. Family members are very welcome to 'book-in' and join their loved one for a meal.

National Book Lovers Day Fancy Dress

The residents and the pre-school children from Orpington Day Nursery had a fun time as they sang and danced to their favorite nursery rhymes.

The children were dressed up in their favorite book character, they told the residents who they were dressed as and why they liked that particular character.

All the children are winners in our eyes however a £15 book gift voucher was presented to the best fancy dress.

The residents were also given a "thank you" card from the children.

COME DINE WITH US

Our "Come Dine With Us" event has come around again, it will be held next week Wednesday 13th Aug 24 at 1.30pm to 3pm.

If you or anyone you know is feeling lonely or isolated come and join us for our monthly lunch club where we provide a free home-cooked roast dinner for older people in the community. Enjoy a delicious meal, meet our friendly team and socialize with others from the local community.

Mini Bus Trip

Our residents had a wonderful time on their trip to Eynsford Village! 🌿💦 They enjoyed a leisurely stroll around the village, delighted in watching the kids cast their lines and do some fishing, and, of course had a lovely stop at The Plough Inn for refreshments and a friendly natter with the locals! 🚣🏼‍♀️🎣"

What a Fantastic International Ice Cream Fun Day! 🍦

Despite the rainy weather, we didn't let the storm dampen our spirits, and what a wonderful day it turned out to be! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us on Sunday.

We're so proud to have raised a brilliant £321.70 for Bromley FC’s Veterans Community Hub, who generously sponsored our main raffle prize of the signed shirt and lent us the pop-up goal, footballs and cones for Beat The Goalie. Our future young footballers had a blast 😀

The brilliant Bright Sparks performers lit up the room with their beautiful, and cheeky singing, bringing smiles to everyone’s faces 🎶

Bromley FC’s Veterans Community Hub holds a fantastic veterans’ event on the last Friday of every month and does incredible work supporting local veterans. We’re over the moon to give something back to such a worthwhile cause.

And finally, a huge shoutout to our amazing volunteers who helped us move everything indoors when the rain hit — you truly are the heart of our Foxbridge Family 💛
