Before the month ends, we must take a moment to acknowledge that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. As a lot of you will know, this is a topic very close to our director Emma's heart, and we're proud to support people going through cancer treatments.

Bonfire Night can be a stressful time for our pets 🎆🐾

While we enjoy the fireworks, many cats and dogs experience real fear and anxiety but there are ways to help keep them calm and safe. 💛

Top Tips for Pet Owners:
🏠 Keep them indoors, with curtains closed and TV or music on to mask loud noises.
💤 Create a cosy hiding spot or ‘safe space’ where they can feel secure.
🎧 Try to stay calm yourself - pets can pick up on your stress.
🦮 Walk dogs earlier in the day, before fireworks start.
🐕 Consider natural calming aids or speak to your vet if your pet struggles badly.

A little preparation goes a long way in keeping our furry friends happy and relaxed. 🐶🐱
