We are very busy at the moment and just a reminder that we do not have a receptionist and I will not be able to answer the phone/ answer the door, whilst I am treating patients, so please do leave a message and I will aim to get back to you at the end of the day.

Hi everyone,

Just to let you know that the road works have started this week on Horbury road/storrs hill road and will continue for approx 6 weeks, which may cause a few traffic delays, especially around school times, so please do allow extra time if you have an appointment.

Hi Everyone,

Just to let you know that we are open as usual tomorrow, Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th Feb, then we will be taking a little break for half term and reopen Monday 23rd February 😊

We have limited availability week commencing 23rd Feb and 2nd March, so please message us if you would like to book in.

Please note, we have had a large amount of calls recently and we do not answer the phone whilst treating patients to ensure that appointments are not disturbed. Therefore please do leave us a message or alternatively leave a text message or message us through messenger. Please note we do not accept WhatsApp messages/calls.

This charity has recently screened one of my boys. They want all young people to have the opportunity to have heart screening to prevent sudden cardiac deaths. They currently provide free screening for young people age 14 and above. Please sign the below petition to urge the government to provide these as mandatory for all young people.

Fund population cardiac screening for every young person when they reach age 14 years. The screening should be undertaken with a review of family history and electrocardiogram (ECG) followed up where necessary with echocardiogram (heart scan).

We are now closed for Christmas and reopen on Monday 5th January.

Our raffle has been drawn and the winner has received their hamper. Congratulations! Thank you to everyone who donated. We will let you know in the new year how much has been raised for wakefield hospice.

We would like to thank everyone for their support in 2025 and we wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Hi everyone,
As you are aware there is a high prevalence of flu, cold and covid around at the moment so to ensure we all keep healthy and to protect others (we do see some very vulnerable patients) we would really appreciate your help with the following:

* Please use the hand sanitiser provided before and after your appointment

*please do not attend clinic if you are unwell

*Please let us know before your appointment if you are unwell/have any symptoms (temperature, cough etc) or under the weather to discuss if it would be best to rearrange your appointment.

* if you are well enough to attend your appointment but would like to wear a mask, we have plenty in clinic that I can provide you with or if you would like me to wear a mask I am happy to do this.

We are nearly into December and we only have a few appointments left before we close on the 22nd Dec. We reopen on the 5th Jan, however the first week back is already full so if you would like an appointment in Dec or early Jan, please let us know as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
