Hi everyone,

We are now taking advanced bookings for the 6 week summer holidays (20th July- 31st August)
as these appointments fill up very quickly, so please get in touch if you think you will want an appointment during this time. Please leave a message or send a text.
Please note the clinic will be closed week commencing 27th July for 1 week, and I will be working slightly reduced days.

🌟 Easter Opening times & appointments 🌟

Just a reminder that we will be closing for Easter on Tuesday 31st March and reopen on Friday 10th April.
We are now nearly fully booked for the whole of April with only a few appointments remaining on Mon 20th and Mon 27th April.

We have therefore started a cancellation list for patients who may want a sooner appointment and we will let you know if any become available. Please let us know if you wish to be added to this list.

This also means that we are not able to currently accept new patients in April.

Just to let you know that the road works have started this week on Horbury road/storrs hill road and will continue for approx 6 weeks, which may cause a few traffic delays, especially around school times, so please do allow extra time if you have an appointment.

Hi Everyone,

Just to let you know that we are open as usual tomorrow, Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th Feb, then we will be taking a little break for half term and reopen Monday 23rd February 😊

We have limited availability week commencing 23rd Feb and 2nd March, so please message us if you would like to book in.

Please note, we have had a large amount of calls recently and we do not answer the phone whilst treating patients to ensure that appointments are not disturbed. This charity has recently screened one of my boys. They want all young people to have the opportunity to have heart screening to prevent sudden cardiac deaths. They currently provide free screening for young people age 14 and above. Please sign the below petition to urge the government to provide these as mandatory for all young people.

Fund population cardiac screening for every young person when they reach age 14 years. The screening should be undertaken with a review of family history and electrocardiogram (ECG) followed up where necessary with echocardiogram (heart scan).

We are now closed for Christmas and reopen on Monday 5th January.

Our raffle has been drawn and the winner has received their hamper. Congratulations! Thank you to everyone who donated. We will let you know in the new year how much has been raised for wakefield hospice.
