If you are in Ossett this afternoon then why not pop along to the Community Centre, come and have a cuppa, a bun or a slice of cake and maybe buy a gift from our craft sale and see what our very talented wellbeing crafters have been making recently.
Also you can come down to our community garden and see how busy our wonderful gardeners have been, bring your lunch and sit on one of our many benches and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.and the sunshine

This morning at our Wellbeing Craft Group, we had a lovely time making handmade lavender and jasmine soap. This was a very enjoyable activity and the soap turned out really well.
If you would like to come and join our friendly craft group, we meet every Friday morning 10am-12pm, bring your own crafts or join in with ours and enjoy a cuppa while you craft, everyone is welcome.

Please don't buy your fruit shrubs, rhubarb crowns and strawberry plants from the supermarket. Our wellbeing garden club meets on Thursdays. We have lots of "locally grown" raspberries, rhubarb and strawberry plants available for reasonable donations. Please come down and see us Thursday morning between 10am and 12 noon Ossett Community Centre.

It's been so flippin cold and windy that I didn't think we would be attending the garden club this morning. But what's a bit of wind and rain to us hardened lot. Instead of festering indoors we got out there and despite our bad backs, bad knees and snivelling noses haha, we got stuck in and created a whole new garden. Photos to follow.

"Happy Mothers Day!" From Julia, to all mums out there! If you can't think of what to let the kids buy you or you want to try something different, maybe try a "painting by numbers". I had this one bought for my birthday recently. You can do it in your own time at home or if it seems a bit daunting, why not bring it along to the craft group on Friday morning here at Ossett Community Centre

This week at our Wellbeing Craft Group we have been very busy making lots of Easter crafts which will be on sale next Friday at our pop up cafe.

If you would like to join us at our crafty sessions we meet every Friday morning 10am-12pm at Ossett War Memorial Community Centre. Bring along your own projects or join in with our planned activities and enjoy a cuppa.

Our wellbeing garden club was back in action this Thursday and lots to do at Ossett Community Centre . Thanks to Ossett Tree Service who dropped off a full load of woodchippings we can now top up our paths and other areas around the carpark so that it looks neat and tidy and saving us masses of weeding over the next couple of months.
