We deliver a monthly training session on the last Thursday of each month, exploring a range of topics and sharing practical, evidence‑informed strategies to help professionals support children through grief with confidence and compassion.

In this sessions we explore:
🔹 How children understand grief at different developmental stages
🔹 Practical, age‑appropriate ways to talk about loss
🔹 Tools and free resources to support emotional regulation
🔹 Guidance for educators, youth workers, and safeguarding professionals

This April, our training focuses on supporting Primary School‑aged pupils.

As a man who runs facilitates mens groups I see that we often struggle to interact with a system that is weighted towards what many women prefer in terms of support. Of course, that's a sweeping statement but holds a lot of truth.

I've been fortunate to be part of some research in Canada with Interwoven Connections Here's some interesting research that looks to dig deeper into experiences of adoption disruption that some may be interested in looking at.

When BIG feelings take over!

Our new FREE resource can help children to notice when they become overwhelmed by big feelings and to reconnect with the feelings that are behind or beneath it. Support children to recognise and name their feelings, notice that they can change over time and with attention. Taking time to notice this creates an important distinction between what they feel and who they are.
