We were over the moon to receive this heartfelt message from one of our patients, currently hiking through the stunning Cypriot mountains with her Össur knee brace and custom insoles made by us:

“I literally feel like a new woman. We’ve walked around 8 miles a day for four days and it’s been a joy. I almost messaged after day one but thought it was too good to be true! Did you know? Our custom insoles are crafted in-house! Our orthotist, Tom, utilises information and data from your clinical assessment and gait analysis to create the design using specialised software to address your pain or walking issues. These designs are then either milled or 3-D printed, before being expertly finished by hand.

👣Behind the scenes at Woods Orthotics👣

We recently spent a brilliant afternoon with sharing knowledge, testing treatments and learning from each other to improve how we care for you.

From hands-on demos of assessment for custom orthotics, to live physiotherapy assessments and gait analysis. The session was all about working together to help patients move better and feel better.

One highlight? A live physiotherapy assessment using TECHNARtherapy on Tom’s ankle injury. The results were impressive, check out our blog post on our website for more information (www.woodsorthotics.com). We used gait analysis before and after treatment: there was a clear improvement in movement and balance.

At Woods Orthotics, we’re always learning, collaborating and refining our approach because great care happens when disciplines connect.
