Its been a very busy week for our volunteers.

Monday - Theatre Severn
Wednesday - Wem Fireworks
Friday - Trefonen Fire Festival
Saturday - Training a course for volunteers
Sunday - Remembrance Sunday and Theatre Severn

A big thank you to all the volunteers who have been at these events and giving back to their community.

Last week
James, Asher and Lee attended a variety of shows supporting our Shrewsbury St John Ambulance team doing Theatre Severn.
Its fair to say that we had a very fun time.

Tonight adults practiced a plethora of bandages and cadets did bonfire night first aid!

Today Brad and Kim were at Wolverhampton Wanderers FC for their match against Brighton & Hove Albion FC. Great event, and very different than the events we normally cover.

This afternoon Brad and Dave were at the careers fair organised by The New Saints of Oswestry Town FC. Fantastic initiative to empower and support the career development of our town’s young people!

Today our team has been out supporting Shrewsbury St John Ambulance at the The Shrewsbury Half Marathon.
We’ve had teams deployed on the Ambulance and in our Comms team as well as providing first aid cover on the ground.

Since Thursday,
Our Members have been out covering the International Sheep Dog Trials at the beautiful Brynkinalt Estate in Chirk.
A big thank you to all the volunteers who gave up their time to give back to their community.

Yesterday, James and Tobias went over to Staffordshire to support our wider district colleagues at Eccleshall Show. They had a fantastic day despite the rain.
Events like this are a brilliant way for cadets like Tobias to practice their skills and further their clinical knowledge to help them in the future.

Another busy week for our Network team.

Yesterday saw a number of members attending the VJ day service within the town providing both First aid cover and representing the network & the wider St John Ambulance charity.

Today Dave, James and Tobias were out at the 48th anniversary of Rhydycroesau Show, Horse Show and Fell Run. A big well done to all the competitors in the horse Show and also the winners in the dog show.
