Understanding our nervous systems is one of the best & most impactful things we can do for ourselves 🫶🏻
So many of us rush around every day from one thing to the next, and when it comes to taking time to “relax”, our bodies are so stuck in fight or flight mode that we don’t know what to do, we feel awkward, maybe anxious or irritated.
Over the past five and a bit years of being a massage therapist, I’ve come to understand the importance of allowing my clients to arrive in the space and to get what they need off their chest, in order to move forward and enjoy the treatment.
Most of the time that’s all a lot of of us need, time 🌿
