The Movement Centre is a charity helping children to achieve movement control. Most of us take for granted the ability to control our heads, to sit, stand and walk, however children with cerebral palsy, or other developmental delays, require specialist therapy to help them achieve these. Drawing on specialist physiotherapists and bio-engineers, the Centre has pioneered Targeted Training. Targeted Training is a unique, highly effective and evidence based movement control therapy that works.

Curtis was invited to the first rehearsal of the year for Voices of the Valley - The Fron Male Voice Choir last week.

Caleb came in for his second review, and the results are impressive!
We can definitely see how hard Caleb has been working as he is now able to walk with one hand held for a few seconds at a time. Amazing job, Caleb.

Caleb and family have also been fundraising for us and between his last session to now have managed to raise a total of £330.50 - Which is fantastic, we are hugely grateful.

The event will feature two informative sessions with guest speakers sharing their expertise.

As you may have noticed on our social media, 2025 came to a bittersweet conclusion as we bid farewell to Sarah Bew, Physiotherapist, after 16 years at the centre.
Sarah dedicated her career to providing life-changing Targeted Training Therapy to children and families across the UK.

While we will miss her greatly, we are thrilled to introduce Lara Whitton as the newest member of our team.
Lara is newly qualified, and we eagerly anticipate how the centre's dynamics will evolve as we grow together as a team.
