Going to bed hungry

Most nights struggling to sleep because you’re just thinking of food

Waking up starving and so ready to eat

Until you realise you can’t because your breakfast has been replaced with a shake

So you drag yourself through the morning

You can’t concentrate because you have brain fog

You can’t do much because your energy is rock bottom

You can’t hold a conversation because everything and everyone pi**es you off

It gets to lunch time, you just want to sink your teeth into a fat baguette

But you’ve got another beige shake, but this time it comes with an apple

Both of these last roughly 5.65 seconds, barely touching the sides

Still dreaming of all the food you’ve not had in so long

By the time you get home you can’t even see straight

There no chance of getting to the gym because you can barely function

You finally get a meal, the one solid meal of the day which really doesn’t do much

So you go to bed early to keep yourself out the kitchen, hungry again, struggling to sleep again

This cycle doesn’t last long does it?

Why would it, it sounds like a form of SAS torture

Shake diets are really not the one
‹You may drop some weight from swapping a meal for a drink

But no doubt when you inevitably throw the towel in, you’ll regain that weight and more

This is where Emma was in the past

Wanting to lose the unwanted weight but wasn’t sure how to do it

Now she’s eating more, doing more and actually enjoying her lifestyle

What would you rather
a couple of beige, tasteless shakes a day‹‹Or a sexy bagel followed by a pasta bake
.?

If you like food as much as me and you also want to shift that unwanted weight

DM me COACH and I’ll drop you a little info on how you can do it

With plans for more team events, photoshoots and socials on the horizon

As well as expanding Level Up’s coaching options

I’ll be looking to bring in another coach to the Level Up team

So if you’re a qualified Personal trainer, or nutritionist looking to join a growing team

Stay tuned for the opening that’s dropping soon

Last weekend I gave a really important tour

My auntie and uncle came down to visit and wanted to see my gym for the first time

Since day 1 of me even talking about investing in the gym they’ve had my back

Been my biggest supporters and helped me take the leap

To nearly a year later them finally seeing the gym itself and what I’ve done with it so far

They’ve always had my back through the tougher times so for them to finally see my vision come to life was really important

They’re not the only people that have supported me along the way, I’m blessed to have some incredible people in my life that have backed and supported me all the way

But the support you have behind you is so important

Because things aren’t always going to be easy

Some decisions are scary

And sometimes you need that helping hand

That’s always important for your own personal changes

To improve your life for the better

And feel your best again

You can’t always do everything alone

The people around you can lift you up, help you through when you need it

But you need to talk to them, let them know what you’re doing and why it’s important to you

Otherwise you can feel very lonely on such an important personal road

Always look at your support network if you feel like giving up

Talk to them, share with them and let them help you

And if you feel like it’s not there

Ask yourself why?

Have you told the people closest to you what you’re trying to do for yourself and why you’re doing it?

Or are you trying to be a lone wolf in a busy world?

Don’t underestimate the power of support

In most cases, it can be make or break

Here’s my no B.S answer

It’s not easy

It doesn’t happen over night

But when you do regain it, it’s a superpower

It’s the key to unlock the door that’s been holding you back from everything you’ve wanted to do

The feeling it gives you makes you unstoppable

But the only way to feel that way is to do something different

To do the things that scare you and take action

The more you push yourself outside your comfort zone, the more confidence you will build

But if you don’t change, your confidence won’t change either

So let me ask you this

What’s scarier

Taking small steps towards facing the things that scare you

Or forever feeling like you’re holding yourself back, not truly experiencing everything life has to offer

It’s been a banging summer ☀

One of the hottest we’ve had for a long time

Hopefully you’ve enjoyed it as much as me

đŸ‘‰đŸ» Holiday’s
đŸ‘‰đŸ» Beer gardens
đŸ‘‰đŸ» BBQ’s and meals out

It’s been so much fun!

But with September arriving, it feels like summer is now all wrapped up

It’s back into normality

But that’s not always easy

It’s been such a long time where routine has been all over the shop

Where do you even begin to get back into normality?

Do you go try and smash the gym again?

Do you start running?

Do you go hard with your diet?

Or

Do you do it the Level Up way?

The way where it fits into your life and doesn’t take over

The way where you still have that summer fun all year round but you feel incredible while doing so

We do don’t the drastic, we don’t do unsustainable hell

We just get incredible results while living your best life

As you can see by some of the team above

If you’re ready to get back in the groove but you don’t know where to start just DM me saying COACH and I’ll drop you some info

But just a heads up

Level Up is working on a one in one out basis right now with how full the team is

So there is only 2 spaces for a September start!

If you are serious about making a difference, don’t hesitate to reach out

I don’t want you to miss out

Wales in the summer is just glorious ☀

A much needed week away with the better half and the mini polar bear

We’ve had an amazing time with some incredible memories made on Mabel’s first holiday

Not to mention all the great food & drinks we’ve had here

Coming back feeling recharged, refreshed ready to go again

Back in action from tomorrow đŸ’ȘđŸ»

Food shouldn’t be demonised

It’s too bloody delicious for that

But “earning” your food or “burning it off” is creating a toxic relationship with it

You eat for enjoyment and to fuel your body

You exercise to be healthier, fitter and stronger

You shouldn’t be exercising for the sole intention to burn calories

Sack off the calorie burn in the gym and exercise with the sole intention to improve

Don’t create that toxic link between them otherwise you’ll never be happy or healthy

Do you know why this photo sums up Level Up so well?

Because we get sh*t done while having fun doing so

Improving your lifestyle should never be a slog or a chore

It shouldn’t be a dread

It should be enjoyable

Otherwise what’s the point of doing it?

It’s not going to last?

It’s called a lifestyle for a reason

Not a FAD, not a short term fix

A new way of living to feel your best everyday

There are plenty of ‘diets’ out there that may help you lose the weight quickly

But no doubt you’ll be back to square one rather quickly too

There’s plenty of online intense training programs out there

But no doubt you’ll feel like crap the rest of the day and pack it in pretty quickly

You need to think long term

To not only lose the unwanted weight

But keep it off at the end

If you want to know a little bit more about Level Up to get sh*t done while enjoying the process

Just drop me a message saying COACH

And I’ll drop you some info

I’m no green thumb when it comes to gardening

And I don’t claim to have any experience there

But there’s one thing I can do when it comes to work in the garden

And that is move heavy sh*t

Bags of soil and stone

Slabs and rubble

Be the hands on to make it run a bit smoother

But I can only do this because of one reason

I look after myself in the gym

I work on getting stronger & fitter each week

I don’t aim to be any sort of powerlifter or bodybuilder

I just try and push myself that little bit more each time

Every week, every year consistently

It is cool seeing what you are able to lift and achieve in the gym once you’ve got into the groove

But do you know what’s better?

What it gives you outside of the gym

đŸ‘‰đŸ» Being able to fix up a garden

đŸ‘‰đŸ» Doing work on the house

đŸ‘‰đŸ» Chasing a hyper puppy around

The gym isn’t there to purely lift as much as you can

It’s there to give you the life you want, and do all the things you want to do in your spare time

Every day life becomes 10x easier when you work on looking after yourself

And that’s what it’s all about

Being your best self for the people you love

“At 57 years of age, anything is achievable”

When you first step inside a gym, it can be daunting

Where do you start?

What do you use?

How does it even all work?

Not to mention for the times outside of the gym

đŸ‘‰đŸ» Food
đŸ‘‰đŸ» Steps
đŸ‘‰đŸ» Sleep
đŸ‘‰đŸ» Routine

It can feel like a bit of a minefield

You know how you feel on day 1

You know how you want to feel

How you want to look

But getting from A to B starts to become overwhelming

This is how Jackie felt

She wanted to feel stronger, fitter healthier

She wanted routine around her shift pattern and time out back in for her

And she wanted to compete in her first body building competition

But she didn’t know how to put it all together to make it possible

Together, with Jackie’s incredible hard work and consistency

She’s build a lifestyle she loves

She dropped 8.5kg

And came third in her very first competition!

Like Jackie said, regardless of age, anything is achievable

And she’s a testament of that

So rather than me ramble on, I’m just going to let Jackie’s incredible pictures of her confidence do the talking

If you need that structure back in your life

That plan of action that fits into your life and helps you feel incredible

Just message me COACH and I’ll drop you some more info
