I caught myself saying the dreaded wordsā¦
āI donāt have the timeā
Right now life is pretty crazy
Iām working 12 hours a day, 5-6 days a week
Training myself has become⦠interesting
Even though Iām in a gym all that time, my own training has taken a bit of a hit due to my workload
Training before 6am was short lived (I need the sleep)
Training after 6-7pm, I just had nothing left in the tank
I was stressing myself out trying to fit these hour long sessions in somewhere to the week
Until I flipped it on its head
Something I tell to all my clients but forgot to apply it to myself
The optimal training plan is one that fits into your life, not takes overā¦
Right now is 1 hour optimal for me?
No.
Is more frequent 30 minute workouts optimal for me?
Hell yes
Same amount of training volume over the week
But instead of training 3x a week for an hour
I take my lunch break, and I train 5x for 30 mins
This will probably change again in the future when life slows down
But right now, it fits perfectly into my life
There is no right or wrong way to train
The only important factor is that youāre able to do it consistently
Even though Iām in a gym 60-70 hours a week, Iām still human, I donāt always find it easy to get it in
I get it, itās hard to work it out when life is just so busy
But thereās always a way to make it fit into your life one way or another
You may just need to change the way you look at it
