The soul is growing at such a rapid rate and with that, there are so many layers of letting go that the body is possibly asking for some anchoring….

DEEP- REST could be very flippin helpful and energy management 💫

This breath is a variation of the psychological sign with a blend of kundalini science. This breath is often taught long first inhale to open the lungs, but with anxiety the diaphragm is constricted, so the body can often only open the lungs through a short primer inhale followed by a fuller second one.

You’ll see what works for you because your body will be able to do it without forming more stress 🌸

Remember your body has a natural intelligence system so what feels right in the moment is going to be different for all bodies. Allow your system to play with the breath in a way it’s naturally able 🌸

Not always exact textbook approaches. This is important because it’s a reclamation of self trust. 💖

Here are 5 kundalini tips to allow a sense of safety in the body through change:

1. Shaking the body and then stillness afterwards. This will release stored stress and tension that gets held during transformative times. Signals to the body it’s safe.

2. Root chakra kriyas and grounding asana (postures) such as squat and kundalini crow pose.

3. Mantra/ sound/ vibration/ rhythm is the vagus nerves remedy. It cuts through the noise of the mind connecting to presence deeper.

4. Breath, movement, sound practices combined act like an instrument tuner. Bringing the mind, body and spirit back into harmony.

5. Chanting or listening to “MA” mantra (kundalini yoga) this is the sound of the divine mother EARTH

When we go through rapid soul growth, the body systems take some time to readjust their safety brackets. Give yourself grace and remember to ground 🧚🏻‍♂️🦋

Goals, dreams, passion projects all beautiful things. But here in the northern hemisphere, we’re still in winter and this season is asking for nourishment, not urgency ✨

With the wolf moon coming tomorrow it’s a nice reminder of that feminine rest digest part of life we often keep trying to escape from 🌝

When we nourish from the ground up, we don’t delay our dreams we give them the strength to reach for the stars without burning and frazzling out 🫶🏻

Here’s the twist 💫💫💫💫

I don’t believe in forcing things out of my life.
This is just my experience. I’m not projecting it onto anyone.

I don’t believe in aggressively cutting out so called bad habits or building walls around people, objects or situations that don’t serve me. Sometimes that’s necessary, yes. But generally, I don’t move like that.

I don’t resist my so called bad habits.
I don’t cling to my so called good ones
I mean sure this is also a practice, I’m bloody human 👯‍♀️

I say so called because anything can be harmful or helpful depending on the relationship we have with it.

You know when a button says “don’t press me” or a cake sits there whispering “I’m forbidden”?
If you’re anything like me, you want to break the rigid fu***ng rules.
So you press the button. You eat the cake.

Because whatever we resist, persists.

When we resist bad habits or cling to good ones like exercise or spiritual practice, both create attachment.
That attachment turns into identity.
“This is bad, reject it.”
“This is good, keep it.”

And that identity runs the psyche. It creates rigidity. It blocks energy flow.

We shame ourselves either way.
“I shouldn’t have eaten that, I’m bad.”
“I should have practiced, I’m bad.”

Shame is what keeps the cycle alive.

When we don’t attach, we choose freely.
And freedom dissolves shame.

So instead of pushing things away, I try expand my awareness and self acceptance and truth.
What doesn’t align with my truth falls away naturally, to whatever degree it’s meant to and when it meant to 🌼🌼

Emotions are still a challenge for me hahaaaa, I’m sure the same is for most humans 🧞‍♀️✨

Sure, we’re not quite finished with Snake year yet and that’s OK 🐍🐍🐍

These energy practices are especially supportive for this still, wintery time in the Northern Hemisphere 👇

At the moment I’m really feeling the energy of reinforcing commitment. And by commitment I don’t mean urgency. I mean a steady devotion to the things I’m ready to bring through, while holding kindness and softness around the parts I’m not quite ready for yet. No forcing. No dragging things out before their time. I’ve learned that force and resistance towards the things we “don’t want” only creates energetic blocks anyway 🫣🐒

So right now, it’s about gentle alignment rather than push.

Three energy practices I’m leaning into:

1. Gentle, rhythmic, body based practices
Movements that declutter the system without overstimulation. They keep energy contained, circulating and non stagnant without creating force or pressure.

2. Moving stretches with conscious breath over static stretch. Fluid movement paired with breath rather than long static holds. This keeps the nervous system soft while allowing energy to reorganise naturally.

3. Rekindling ancestral magic- I always feel a deep connection with ancestors at this time of year. For me this comes through elemental work in the home, outside in nature, and within the body through the chakras. Sound is my other main connector to spirit and always has been. So working with the elements and sound is always a beauty for me. Let me know if you’re interested in this? 👇👇👇
