Reposting because it's still important and relevant.

It's OK to not feel Merry and Bright all the time.

We place a lot of pressure on ourselves during this time of year.
Remember, it's ok for your Christmas to look different to others and your previous Christmas.

Take time for yourself. Do what you need to do.
It's OK to not feel jolly.

The holiday period can be overwhelming and stressful.
Remember to stop and breathe.

You are the priority. It's time to put your oxygen mask on first.

You are a priority.

Take a breath.
Take a step back.

Our perspective on a situation can impact how we may feel.
Can you challenge this?

A reminder to myself and others not just to survive the day but thrive in it!
Take that moment outside to smell the flowers, feel the warmth from a hot cup of tea, dance like nobodies watching and live in these moments!
No matter how big or small, try to notice moments in your day which bring you joy and ground yourself.

With this reminder comes a picture of me breaking out of the day to day cycle of life. A brilliant trip to Warner Brother Studios to laugh with friends, and at myself with a butterbeer moustache!

We cannot control others behaviour or actions
But we can control our own.

We cannot expect change to just happen.
We can choose to change our environment, our own actions or choices.

Is it time to choose change?
